第18题,我只能排除disappointing和unexpected,不知道从原文中哪里可以读出作者的态度。

第19题,在新的绿皮里是不定项选择题,如下:

答案还是C,可是我觉得B也对,我觉得B对应着第一段的内容,就是Although the hormone adrenaline is known to regulate memory storage, it does not pass from the blood into brain cells.

首先,文章第二段主要讲的examined the effects of glucose on memory in rats;
第一个小实验说的是葡萄糖的注入确实可以增强记忆力,葡萄糖升高又是肾上腺素释放的产物,那到底是谁起的作用呢?
第二个小实验说的是把肾上腺素这个因素排除掉,让肾上腺素降低,葡萄糖不变,发现记忆力不受影响,所以第二实验是起了一个支持的作用,答案E

4# lionelfeng 多谢,第三题想明白了,第二题我这儿的答案错了好像,他选的是C,让我觉得是不是和negative response有关,现在看来应该直接看两个实验的关系。

7# 米兰啸西风 我查网上从白本上节选的题给的答案都是E,但是绿皮书上给的答案是C,我依旧不是很确定。
