早上睁眼刷到的。MSU的地理系看了让人流口水，老师非常多。但是发给我的信里说了今年财政紧张，但是我可能有RA，要自己去套教授（巴特，我之前套的教授一个都没有回我的），原文如下：

Funding - You are accepted without funding.  Given the nation's (& state's) current economic difficulties, resources to support graduate students are severely limited.  As a result, the competition for the few funded slots we have was fierce.  Although no promises can be made, it is conceivable that you may be funded at some point as a research assistant (R.A.).  Such positions arise when faculty obtain grants that require student assistance.  These opportunities become available on a random basis and most commonly last from one semester to about one year.  Your best chance to obtain such funding is to get to know your major professor sufficiently well for that person to offer you an R.A. should he or she obtain a grant.  In addition to funding as an R.A., the department occasionally needs someone who is not funded to assist with a particular class.  Such opportunities are rather rare and typically are related to distinct needs on a semester basis.

GEOCAMP:  Should you choose to join us in the fall, please note that we will be conducting a geography field camp for new graduate students.  This field camp will explore themes of physical and human geography in Michigan and all of your expenses will be fully paid.  You are expected to attend.  The camp will be held August 23-25, 2012.

我两个星期前收到MSU department 说的是 把我recommend 给了 dean of the college ， 然后说 futher details of my admission will be forthcoming in a few days ， 眼看两个星期过去了，没有任何回音了，会不会是又不要我了啊， 好焦虑啊。

我仔细看了下我那个，不是正式AD，是系主任发给小米小米再给我的，是系主任说貌似我背景不错，好多FACULTY争着看我申请，然后他们都推荐我录取，然后貌似就是说推荐我倒研院了。。。希望研院不要卡我。。。

我们那个系主任完全木有表扬我，但是也是说把我推荐了， 然后就是两个星期都木有消息了，所以我就焦虑了。不过我们申请的专业不一样啦

那你发个信问问。。。不过我觉得吧，一般推荐了没什么大的短板研院都不会卡的。。。
