2月28日 101031NA Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is often not a good thing for people to move to a new town or a new country because they will lose their friends.


As far as I am concerned, I totally deny those people who think It’s not a promising thing to move and go to a new town or a new country because they will lose their friends. My arguments are listed as follows.

Firstly, Can you tell me what’s the meaning of the word ”friend”? Does it just a person who accompany with you play with you and even encourage you and you feel pleasant and happy when you are down and fail to some things? I think majority of people will agree with these. So, it does not matter for one to make friends where they are., but their interests and mind are linked. So, the numbers of your friends become larger and wider then the past. To sum up, moving to new country and town you can and must make friends if you have a propensity to people.

Secondly, take my brother for an example, several years age, he had been to America to further study , majoring in the Science and Technology as a transfer student. In China, he was a shame and reluctant to make friends because he may be infected by his parents. After half of a year, from a e-mail, I knew that he not only had many friends, but also made a girlfriend. I was very proud of him that he was not lonely any longer. He said that the education and life style pulled him forward and forced him to their world.


To be honest, there are also some negative factors to this opinion that people may miss and lose their previous friends who weighs so much in their life as soon as they move to another new town or country.

However, take all these factors into account, we may draw a conclusion that it’s a really promising thing to move and go to a new or town or a country .
