今天收到这样的邮件，from graduate.offers@ubc.ca

On behalf of Dr. Susan Porter, Dean pro tem, I am pleased to notify you that you have been offered acceptance by the UBC Faculty of Graduate Studies into the MLIS program  for the 2012-2013 Academic Year with the start date of September 2012, pending the dispatch of our official paper admission letter.

邮件里还说纸质录取通知书今天从UBC寄出，说4个星期内收不到就联系院里


Q1：
但是邮件里有一句：
If it has not done so already, your graduate department will soon contact you regarding your acceptance into the program, any financial support available through the department and other details specific to your program.


这个If it has not done so already，到底是已经决定了还是没决定呢。。。


Q2:
然后还有有一句话是这样的：
Please confirm whether or not you intend to accept the offer of admission by sending an email to your new graduate program (slais.admissions@ubc.ca) to let them know your plans.


我想问下以上这句话的意思，是要我立刻就回复到底去不去，还是收到纸质通知书再回复呢

The official admission offer letter from the Faculty of Graduate Studies will be mailed to you the next day. Please note that only the paper letter (not this email) represents official confirmation of your offer of admission to Graduate Studies.  If you do not receive the letter within the next four weeks, please e-mail directly to fgsoffer@interchange.ubc.ca.  

If there is any discrepancy between the information contained in the official Faculty of Graduate Studies admission offer letter and this e-mail, please contact our office via e-mail (fgsoffer@interchange.ubc.ca) immediately to determine the official admission information.

If you are an international student and have not done so already, you should immediately apply for a Study Permit from your local office of the Canadian Embassy. Please confirm whether or not you intend to accept the offer of admission by sending an email to your new graduate program (slais.admissions@ubc.ca) to let them know your plans.
