Nowadays, more and more people think that it is quite important for people to tell the truth in the relationship. Since we were a child, we were always told by our parents that there is nothing important than honesty for a person in the whole life. But in my opinion, things change in the different conditions. Sometimes we should not tell the truth.

It is necessary for us to tell lies to our parents. When we grow up, we always leave our parents to study or work in another city, which may be far away from our hometown. So our parents will wonder if we can take care of ourselves well. They may always give us a call to make sure if we are ok. In this condition, in order to avoid their worry, we should tell the bright side whether it is true or not. My college is far from my home, once my mother called me if I am ok when I just got a cold. I told her the truth. She was so worried about me that could not sleep well until I told her I am healthy.

Also, we should hide our bad side when we are looking for a job. It does not mean that we are not honest. When the future boss ask us what bad quality we have. In order to get the willing job, we cannot say that I am positive or something else. because sometimes we are not really positive, it is maybe a small bad habit, which does not influence our future work. but if you say so, you may lose the chance to exhibit yourself.

At last, we also should tell some kind lies to our friends or maybe lover, which is good for him or our relationship. When The day of our birthday, some of our friends may give us many presents, maybe it is a toy, a pen or even a birthday card. No matter we like it or not, or we need it or not, when we receive it, we should tell our friends that we like their gifts very much. It will make our friends happy, also it is very kind.

Although nothing is more important than being honest, we should not always tell the truth in any condition and in any relationship. In some cases, we should tell some kind lies to our parents, friends and other important people. But in most cases, the importance of being honest can never be exaggerate.
