阅读36套里第7套的几道题目，有点疑惑，望指点！

In the 1750‘s, when salons were firmly established  
in France, some English women, who called

看了好几个论坛上的解释，都觉得不明白，我选的是C，因为我觉得不同就是源于societal traditions啊，再看看正确选项B，后面的literary由何得出？

我选的A，正确答案C里面的facts明显不对吧？因为广告商给出的宣传完全不是facts啊！为什么选呢？
