career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university?

Nowadays , more and more people attend universities. Some of them want to become scholar by attending universities, some of them hope to get a good job by attending universities. But as far as I am concerned , the reasons why people attending universities are listed as follows.
First of all, people attend university for getting more useful knowledge and skills. We all know that as the stress of finding a job, knowledge and skills become more and more important to a person. For example, according to the data provided by the China education department, in 2010,there were 75 percent of high rank jobs are taken by people who had university education experience and some crucial skills. So in order to find a good job, more and more students work hard and try their best to get into universities.

The second reason is that people attend universities so that they can develop a good friendship with different people.
The good relationship with people in different realms may help the people become successful.
Many good relationship means many opportunities. For instance, we can find that in some good universities , most of people who graduated from there are always successful.
The only way to explain it is the good relationship they have, thus, they can help each other and benefit from each other. So Good relationship, is one of the reasons why people attend universities.

Thirdly, people attend universities can develop their own interests which may lead to their further success. The famous scientist Zhengning Yang is a good example. It is attending university that made him know about himself , and developed his real interest in the field of physics, and then led him get the Nobel prize. So attending university may have a positive influence on people’s development of interest, and give them a successful future.
Finally , I want to say that attending university is crucial to a person, we can benefit a lot more than what I have mentioned above from it. So I strongly recommend people should attend universities.
