Dr.H.Howie Huang http://www.seas.gwu.edu/~howie/ is an assistant professor of
Computer Engineering at the George Washington University.  His interests are in
the general areas of computer and systems architecture, especially data-intens
ive computing, file and storage systems, cloud computing, energy-efficient comp
uter systems, and high-performance computing and storage for scientific applica
tions. His research and teaching have been supported by National Science Founda
tion, IBM, NVIDIA, Amazon, SUN/Oracle, and GWU Institute of Biomedical Engineer
ing. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Virginia,
, and received a B.S. in Computer Software from Wuhan University, China.

Full scholarships are now available for prospective highly motivated Ph.D. stud
