前段时间收到ASU ChE的TA offer，是这么写的：

The primary financial support in the first year is in the form of a full-time appointment as a Graduate Teaching Associate for the academic year with a stipend of $15,000, including tuition remission and health insurance.  然后是 you will also receive a University Graduate Fellowship in the amount of $4,500. 如果暑期做全职TA 另外再有$4,500.  Thus, the total value of the stipend including summer support could be as large as $24,000.

接下来说Furthermore, as a part of your appointment, we are pleased to provide you with tuition remission and health insurance. The current value of the tuition benefit for students enrolling in 7 or more hours is $9,709 for residents and $17,874 for nonresidents. Based on the 2011-2012 academic year, the estimated value of the health insurance premium for the 2012-2013 academic year is approximately $1,628.

最后The total estimated value over 4 years of support including your stipend, tuition, fellowship funding, and summer support is $160,508.

我的疑问是最前面的 $15,000是生活费呢，还是说包括学费和保险给这些，不足的我还得交呢~~

是生活费，然后生活费+暑期4500+保险=24000 加上学费的话估计得快40000
