换学校是否要重新签签证？

7月中旬dream school才来的通知书，之前完全不抱希望了，就准备去别的学校，签证也弄完了。
现在想换学校，不知道是否一定要重新签证呢？ 我问了新学校的international office。他们的回答如下：
Once you have a new I-20, you may request that your SEVIS I-901 Fee be re-assigned from your current SEVIS ID# to the new SEVIS ID# associated with the I-20 issued by Northwestern. Additionally, it is unlikely that you will have to request a new F-1 visa stamp from the U.S. Embassy, and may use the visa already issued to you (even though it reflects your other schools name) because the visa stamp is associated to the SEVIS ID#, not necessarily the school.
Once you have applied to change the SEVIS Fee from you current I-20 to the I-20 issued by NU, you may use the current visa stamp to enter the U.S.
