Do you agree with the viewpoint that people are now easier to become educated than in the past?
With the rapid development of the technology, the whole society has an incredible improvement compared to the past. Owing to the awareness of the importance of education, people in nowadays gain so much knowledge from a variety of means, which cause people be wiser and more intelligent than the ancient people. Some people argue that in this case, people are easier be educated now than ever before. In my opinion, I strongly agree this recognition for the following reasons.

Firstly, advanced technology, such as Internet and modern media, has make people access to education more convenient, while ancient people have no such method. People in the past time have to learn something through books, teachers, or obtain experience from practice. They have limited resource which impede their education. However, with the spread of television and even computer among ordinary family, the new era of education advent. People can opt the method of learning which they are fond of according to their own schedule. In other words, they can obtain the knowledge autonomously rather than be filled with useless information passively. For example, they can learn the events all over the world during watch television; they can learn how to communicate with others while chatting online; they can learn academic knowledge when taking the course online during leisure time.

Secondly, countries all over the world take education as a necessary process whoever you are. The meaning behind this is that an increasing number of people have the opportunities to be educated. As the earth is becoming a global community, every country competes in every field, such as resources, technology and even talents. As a result, every country spares no efforts to cultivate the talented people by advocating the importance of education from childhood. In our country, the free nine-year compulsory education project emerges as the times require. While the privilege of education was limited for the rich in the past time.

Admittedly, modern people have higher intelligence than the old, which more or less will produce some different, even opposite idea. That is mean teacher will not easy to convince his students all what he said and will be queried sometimes. In this extend, people are harder to be educated compared to the old. However, this indeed indicate students can think deeply by themselves, which indirectly they have been educated. There is no deny that only clever people can create his character. In the past time, no one will raise his idea because of unawareness.

Generally speaking, from what I have discussed above, because of the easier access of acquiring knowledge, as well as the support of country policy, we can safely come to the conclusion that it is easier to become educated for people than in the past.
