小妹最近做了几道填空题，基础太差，很多都不会呢。把不会的整理出来了，希望论坛各给好心人能帮忙解答~

简单分析下，我个人更倾向于整体理解
1.在产生不好的结果之前（结果还没被证明是不好的时候），scientists对结果将会是不好的possibility是uncertainty的，而worry about正好相反

2.可以理解成对sights和sounds是非常attentive的，as it is to具体是什么用法也不清楚
but后正好和前面取反，前面既不是paasive也不是active，but后就既是actively又是receptive（passive）

3.开头的Though说明feminist in the film's implications不会有本应有的逻辑: YR involved in feminist politics 后,其电影里才会有feminist的implication

4.开头的Just as说明后半句是跟前半句意思一样的,前半句说the author's book起到了一个key作用,所以
后面也应该表达their ideas一个积极作用:inform teaching in this area,其他都不合适

5.whatever 说明应该和transcendental(超常的) 相反,practice有a repeated or customary action的
意思

6.but说明和前面相反,not再次否定,所以后面意思和前面一致,前面说是may aim at保护native speaker的English(意思是不只是针对English,关键在may),所以后面就是说不只是针对English的意思,即扩展到any natural language:extension

1 背景：统计上的hypothesis testing：实际记录的数据是有error和波动的，只有有很大偏差是否才能知道是有trend。所以在知道有trend之前，人们得不出结论。
