解答SAT1，SAT2的区别。

这是美国**大学招生办公室给我回复的email，不一定对所有大学都起作用（因为好像看到有的大学必须要SAT2的数学成绩），但是至少对这个大学起作用。

The SAT II is optional unless your are applying for HPME or ISP.  It is offered with many different subjects.  HPME and ISP require specific subjects to be taken.  However, if you are not applying to these majors, you may choose to take any SAT II tests that you wish, or you may take none at all.

这样说吧，在美国人看来

  L, t: \+ S+ g4 s/ P! @2 pSAT2 考的是achievement，考的是你的knowledge，学到的东西

但是根据Time上个星期的一篇文章：New SAT1对SAT做了很大改动，使得SAT1越来越象ACT靠拢，接近achievement test
