Science. Both sets of regulations are available online at:
http://www.cs.umanitoba.ca/perch/resources/compsci201102.pdf and you are strongly encouraged to review
them in advance. I would also like to draw your attention, in particular, to the fact that all students from non-
English speaking countries are required to take a test of their verbal and written English abilities (known as the
CanTEST) at the earliest opportunity once they arrive. Students must obtain a minimum score on the reading,
writing and listening components of the test and if they do not they must take a remedial course in English and
then retake the failed portion(s) of the test. Students who again fail the test are required to withdraw from the
program.
