Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?  
Movies and television have more negative effects than positive effects on young people.

Nowadays, hundreds of movies released every year. Actually, for people, watching movie is the vital part of lives. Because of signature influence of movie, people worry about its effects on young people. Some people believe that movies and television have negative effects than positive effects on young people. However, I think young people would have benefits on movies and television.

First and foremost, movie time and television time are good chances for young people to build strong connection with family members. When it comes to movies or television, families would sit together, eat pop-crop, and enjoy the time. Thus young people could feel the unit of family and likely to spend more time with family. It is good for young people’s lives, including their families and children in the future. So movie and television can supply more opportunities for young people with families.

In addition, movie and television can give young people widely horizons. As we all know that, movie and television almost contain everything in the world, such as culture, history, and technology. Watch movie or television is a common way to learn new things. Compared books, young people not only reading words, but also see the picture or scenes. What a vivid imagine. For example, an American boy who is fond in Chinese kungfu,, if he want to learn it with books, it is difficult. But if he watch Chinese action movie, he would know kungfu more and better through pictures and explanation.

To sum up, movies and television have more positive effects on young people. Young people can get more opportunities with family and broaden their horizon.
