"it is unfortunate that today's educators place so much emphasis on finding out what students want to include in the curriculum and then giving it to them. It is the educators' duty to determine the curriculum and the students' duty to study what is presented to them.(我在题库中没找到)
The speaker suggests that it is the educator’s duty to determine the curriculum and the students’ duty to study what is presented to them rather than placing so much attention to find out what students want. Different people hold different ideas due to their educational perspective(你想说对教育的不同观点吗?different perspectives on education). For me, I agree with the author on grounds that several reasons will be presented to confirm it in the following discussions.(开头挺好的,简单明了!)
First of all, the reason of this view is so much that from(is much concerned with) students’ characters, as we know, students, most of whom are young, are lack of thoughtful ability(the ability of independent thinking), and mental maturity(to decide what is beneficial for their study). Under this circumstance, most often, it is a(an) unwise decision that is made by students according just their seeming knowledge and individual’s like or dislike. So(therefore,) they need the teachers’ direction in order that they can grow up better. To make a full appreciation of what this mean, we can turn to a concrete example for in the case that(有点乱,或许简单一点会好些), in secondary school of in primary school,(你要说小学二年级吗?secondary school是中学的意思) almost all curriculums are designed by teachers such as math, chemistry ,and physics, which are unalienable(undeniably favorable) for the students to go to another high school. On the contrary, if all curriculums are designed just(去掉just吧?) only by students, we can imagine that schools will become a big playing station, and there, teacher just serves as the director of how to play. Thus students will lost(miss, or lose) their chance to study for a better life. From the example, it is obvious that educators have the duty to direct students and determine curriculums what they have to study.(主要讲学生的心智的不成熟,所以要老师决定所学内容。其实可以说老师会从学生的角度全面考虑,]比如说设置一些手工课,绘画,唱歌,来满足大多数学生的兴趣啊,简单的说语文数学,感觉好教条。)
In addition, there is another reason for me to advocate this statement. Considering the teachers’ duties, it is fairly well-known(众所周知吗?as we know) that teachers have duties not only to teach students how to study, but also to teach them what to study.(层次上不对吧?how to study 比 what to study深一层吧?) Especially in this era of rapid social and technological change, it is very difficult for students to master all available information to make a accurate decision. but it is teachers who have ability to direct students that can provide students appropriate curriculums. To illustrate, a case in point is that for students, It is very important for them to master the way of communication but which is not easy to know by students. Under this circumstance, it is teachers’ duty to tell them the importance of communications, and then set up a curriculum about social communication. Thus students will benefit greatly by teachers’ right decision(这个例子感觉不够有力。交流的重要性很普遍,大家都能意识到!). Therefore, not only has curriculum decisions a good outcome in terms of teachers’ duty, but have good influence upon students.(你说的是老师的责任就是决定学习的内容,但是这并不能说明老师就一定能比学生更好的决定啊?我觉得可以从老师的教学经验来说。)
To sum up, based on the explanation which has been formulated above, the statement that it is educators’ duty to determine students’ curriculum instead of placing so much emphasis on finding out what students want is worthy of trust. especially with the development of education, and with the aim to cultivate more qualified social builders getting more important , educators’ directions to students’ curriculums will play a important role gradually(a increasingly important role).
其实我不同意你的观点,从教学互动的角度写,应该好一些!学生不应该被动的接受老师教的所有课程和内容。 |
