【4.23新问题】陈圣元填空问题整理，一些想法+一些问题

之前做过新东方的黄皮书的前50个section，对照杜昶旭的解析认真整理过。
因为已经比较熟了，所以就换了陈圣元书里的题来做，因为黄皮是打乱了顺序的，所以这次遇到了一些不太明白的题。今天做了SECTION1-5，现在把问题整理下来，我写下来的都是我做的时候就没找到对应，订正也不是很明白的。请大家一起来看看~~~谢谢~~~

这个题我选的是commonplace,其实我自己做的时候并没有想出对应。。。

另外一个问题是，订正的时候看到后面的重点词条，有的词有意思是3000里面没有收录的，但觉得还比较重要。
不知道大家觉得释义准确否。我还是拿本子把一些熟悉词条不熟悉的意思记下来了。

A. 插入语 since the mechanical nature of classical physics does not...creative reasoning

mechincal nature 与 creative reasoning 对立。中间又插了个not，选一个带有赞同的词。
确定第二空 allow for.
插入语也可以确定第一空了。human intellect appears
anomalous contradictory 可选。
综上选A

这道题 当时也选错了。
句意能读懂，
但是propitiatory不认识。我刚才看，又在B C之间犹豫。最后查了下propitiatory。依然不认识。
应该选C吧

For centuries animals has been used as surrogates for people in experiments to assess the effects of therapeutic and other agents that might later be used in humans.
选项里有surrogates和precedents两个选项。
当时我就很纠结，到底该选哪个，因为precedents作为先例仿佛和后面的later更贴合。
第一次做就选错了，印象深刻。看到解析说Precedent作为先例主要表达榜样的含义。

大家也这么想的吗？

section 8-6这道题我是真的跪了。我做了两次也没能把前后逻辑自己弄出来。

这道题比喻太抽象。
硬要说逻辑的话 可以说 后面那个sides carved out.
incise 比较靠后的一层意思就是carve.
不过这个也是我看了答案再推的。自己做基本跪的妥妥的
