1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Taking class at Berkeley. Getting my ass kicked in a poli-sci class. Play mahjong with Americans. Seeing a speech therapist.

Nope.

Alas, none.

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Knowing what the hell is going to happen.

12-5, handing in the first chapter of my thesis, having a nervous breakdown, and yeah incidentally 21st birthday. I dunno, I tend to not remember specific dates.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Being in a stable and mutually satisfying romantic relationship (because let's face it, everything else just sucked).

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not taking better care of my teeth.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
See above. It was hell.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I guess the new laptop?

Nobody really.

Parents? No more than usual.

My money as opposed to my parents' money? That's an easy one, for I am a leech and have no money of my own.

i. happier or sadder? Sadder. I was about to fly to Florida with L this time last year.

Brushing and flossing my teeth. And oh yeah, sleep.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Christmas Eve: Went back to see parents.
Christmas Day : Spent it at home by myself and watching mindless TV.
Boxing Day: I don't even know when that is.

Yes, with NAGANO Mamoru's The Five Star Stories, F.U.Rognar and White Ietta in particular.

I don't do those.

I have no TV. L and I did watch an ungodly amount of The Simpsons, though.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not that I can think of.

I've read one too many books for my papers for me to associate the word "book" with the word "best" at this moment.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
12 Kingdoms.

A new laptop. A good grade in my thesis seminar (I just didn't know there was that much angst involved).

Certainties.

I tend to forget movies, but two recent candidates are Pirates of the Caribbean and The Last Samurai.

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Knowing what the hell is going to happen.
A good answer!Sometimes we didn't hold a clear and definite aim but still achieve much,on the contrast ,at some other times,when we have a firm resolution,but actually everything turned out to be at the wrong place.I always doubt about this funny contradiction
