my husband is a trucker.

He works for a wonderful company who makes sure that he gets
home for the holidays.  But, there are a lot of truckers who
spend their holidays on the road.

They spend Christmas day in a truck stop with almost total
strangers.  If possible, they are able to call home to talk to
their families, that is, if the phones are free, if the weather
is good, and etc.

Many wives, children, and families have to spend the holidays
without them.  I thought that if would be nice to say thank you
to those truckers who don't make it home.

If it weren't for these truckers the people in the USA wouldn't
have any presents to buy, no food to buy for their family meal
and the list goes on and on.

I know that there are many bad stories out there about truckers.

As a trucker's wife, I have ridden with my husband on the road
and it is not an easy life.  Yes, people say all they do is sit
and drive.  What can be hard about that?  It isn't the driving
that is hard, it is being away from your loved ones, missing a
child birthday, or maybe your anniversary and etc.

But it is so dangerous out there in many areas that one takes
their life in hand just to get out of the truck.  All the women
who are always trying to pick a trucker up.  This list goes on
and on with all the things truckers have to be on the lookout
for.

But the biggest problem is the worry that all truckers wives and
family goes through.  The people out there don't give the
truckers the respect they need.  Unless you drive an 18-wheeler,
you have no idea what it takes to operate one.

A car pulls out in front of you and you are to stop on a dime.
It doesn't work that way.  People who cut them off in a traffic
jam, or cuss them out because once they are stopped it takes a
while to get going again with a heavy load.  Or, the worst of
all, is that they will be killed.

When the phone rings in the middle of the night your heart jumps
in your throat.  But it takes a very special wife and family to
understand what it is like being married to a trucker.   

To all the truckers who have driven the miles and delivered all
the Christmas items which the public has purchased for
Christmas, they should say thank you to the truckers who brought
them to the many cities across the U.S.

Some truckers may be alone on Christmas because they can't get
home.  I hope that someone makes the day special for them. [/B]

Cliton's father is a teucker drivers, but he died when his son was only 3 years old. Mother had to remarry to another man who often druck too much with the liitle boy. The hard life of his childhood become a valued one in his whole life.

I also read an article about a life of a taxi driver. They are same in many ways. i recalled of it when i read this one.

I haven't considered that a trucker is leading a hard life in the real world until I read this essay,

and I do believe that in the real world ,there're some jobs,painstaking ,lacking respect, but indispensable for a exact person.He has to continue if he wants to live on.

Although no one would honestly  acknowledge he has the notion of job discrimination ,but when case comes as he has to chose his major ,his proffesion or his career,he has a tendency to chose those more or less likely bringing him the better rewards

Especially these days since I'm watching the LOOK AND LOOK AGAIN ,a korean telenovela，I found the job discrimination is much serious in the Korean
