Two Academic Referees' Reports
7.1 Applicant applying via Paperless application portal
· Before you provide the name and email address of your referee, please ensure that they had already agreed to fill out the online referee report form for your NTU application.
· Provide the name and institutional email addresses of two (2) academic referees.
· The Referee email address must be an Official institutional email address. ( email address given by his University or organization, etc).
· Email address given by the free-email provider will not be accepted (eg email address given by hotmail, gmail, yahoo, qq, etc).
· Upon submission of the online application, it will auto-activate an email to the respective Referee to notify them to complete an online Referee Report.
· It is important to key in the correct email address for your Referee, as changes could not be made to the online application after its submission.
· Do ask your Referee to look out for the email and complete it within 7 working days upon receipt (advisable to check email's junk or spam folder due to settings of individual email account).
· The email will contain login ID and password for your Referee to complete the online Referee Report Form.
· Once your Referee has completed the online Referee Report, your application will be considered as completed and it will be sent to the School.
· In the event that online referee report is not completed within the given deadline, an auto-email will be activated to notify applicant to re-nominate the same/other referee via the application link.
7.2 Applicant applying via Paper application portal
· The applicant is responsible for requesting the Referee Report from his/her Referees.
· The Referee Report must be written using Form R - Academic Referee's Report Form [refer to point (C) above]
· Referee to return the complete Form R to applicant in a sealed envelope.
· Applicant to collate and send to the University with other supporting documents.
