今年夏天换了一个国家生活，开始准备托福考试。没想到国内在家门口就可以考的试，跑到这里需要飞机火车的倒腾。。还是自己家里好。。

很久没有学英文了，上次考托福还是05年呢，623。但这次准备考试，，明显变难了的感觉。

作文和口语都是弱项，考试还剩下一个月，打算每天作一篇作文。希望发上来大家监督。也请大牛们指正！

Young people enjoy life more than older people do


It’s widely believed that young people would enjoy life more than older people. Is it really the case?

As we all know that nowadays, young people facing much severe competence than old days. If young people want to have a bright future, they must study hard and work hard. Friends at my age, who had been graduated from university for 9 years, are always working late on working days. In the weekends, they often sleep late to get some energy and go to libraries to so some self-studies. At the same time, many of them are preparing to get married or having a child, to buy their own house is another stress they are facing with. During last 10 years, the house price in China has been roared to a price that without young people can hardly afford.

On the contrary, older people, who had already retired, no need to go to work. They have a lot of time to design their retirement life. I know there is a very famous couple in China who are already 60 years old. They travel around the world for half a year! Though they don’t know much English, still they found ways to communicate with the local people and many interesting things happened. They even published a book about their travel experience.

For older people, their financial status makes them can enjoy more life than young people. Most of the older people already own their own house and no need to worry about the loans or rents. And also they have pensions and a life time savings. They are much richer than young people which makes them can enjoy more delicious food, appreciate art shows and other entertainments.

Finally, after a life time struggle, they experienced a lot of things, good or bad. They can live a much more peaceful life than young people. They won’t have very extreme moods. They don’t easily go depressed or loosing temper.

Based on the above, I think older people can enjoy a better life than young people.

我反正就是跟着口语小组做作业，刚开始不怕你笑，一个题目要说20到30分钟才能把点说全啊之类的，要反复说很多遍，做6个题目要花好久的时间，练了一段时间后明显做题时间短了，现在说个3-5遍就可以了，我还会继续练下去，争取以后一遍就能过，还有楼主心态要放轻松，尽自己最大的努力就好了，不求结果，想了也没用，做最好的准备，最坏的打算，加油吧，有什么问题大家可以讨论的，互相学习，你写了这么多作文肯定进步了很多

楼主，这个一般多久会有回复呢？
我12月6日排到了，现在木有收到修改好的作文。能够体谅批改作业同学的辛苦，希望能有个期限。非常感谢！
