MPP的大牛校啊~~~

应该是圣诞之前发的，没去关注而已...

如果T6不要我（肯定不会要我），可能就去UM了... MPP/JD一直是我心心念想的offer啊...

anyway.. 提前祝大家新年快乐！哈哈

不行，太感动了，把婶婶的Why Michigan essay贴到上面来，以防有人没看见.. 大家感受一下！

Michigan means so many things to me. It means dressing up in maize and blue and filling the Big House with pride and passion every Saturday in the fall; it means hours of mentally draining, yet intellectually rewarding study in the UGLi during the long winter; it means reading an interesting book on the Diag on a sunny spring afternoon; it means roaming the streets of Ann Arbor during the Art Fair in summer. But Michigan is so much more than just that. Michigan brought students with richly varied perspectives together, so I learned to respect and embrace diversity. It showed me a world so large that there could be infinite possibilities—every individual could live in a vision. I want to contribute to a better rule of law in China, a vision so large that individuals seem insignificant in it. But I always remember what Larry Page said in the commencement address: “Always work hard on something uncomfortably exciting.” It was the experience in Michigan that convinced me. I should live in the vision and seemingly insignificant individual effort would make a difference.

Six years ago, I was drawn to Michigan solely by its reputation. This time, I am drawn to Michigan by the Michigan experience I had and my emotional ties to the school—Michigan was where I gained the courage to embrace a vision, and I want Michigan Law School to be the place where that vision is enlarged.

Throughout my years in college, law school meant just the splendored reading room which was a perfect studying place with plenty “peer pressure”, and the gorgeous Law Quad where couples loved to have their wedding pictures taken. I am certain that attending law school in Michigan will add an entirely new dimension of meanings to Michigan.

The question “why Michigan?” seems so easy because it is already part of my identity, yet it seems so hard that I am not satisfied with the answer I have. It will take the next three years of hard work and dedication to elaborate my answer, and it will take the many years of legal career to follow to perfect it. Nevertheless, everything can be condensed into a chant I have yelled thousands of times: for a life time,

Go BLUE!
