23 There is no such thing as purely objective observation, all observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observer's expectations or desires.

We human beings are a kind of emotional animals, so we inevitably involve our desires or expectations in almost everything we do. Thus, someone argue that the purely objective observation does not exist since our subjective emotions and judgments are always intertwining with the results we get from the observation. However, as far as I am concerned, the purely objective observation does not only exist generally in our life but also plays a vital role in our exploration and understanding of the objective world, though they are often veiled by the subjective interpretation of them.

Due to the observing method we use and the objectivity of every entity, our observation is an objective process. When observing an object, no matter what the goal is, one will view it to get its shape, color, and volume; touching it to get its texture; and even smelling it to get its odor. Sometimes the objects are so far away that the observer cannot touch it directly but only through some equipment to view them from a long distance, such as the astronomers do. However, the characteristics of the object exist objectively and can be got by every observer. On the other hand, with the same feeling organs and ancillary equipments, every observer will undoubtedly get the same results regardless of their expectations or desires with respect of the object. A scientist, no matter he or she is an advocate of Galileo's theory or a partisan of Aristotle's idea, will observe the phenomenon that the objects fall downward at the same speed regardless of their weight. Therefore, it is obviously that objective observation exists in every aspect of out life.

The numerous objective observation in life forms the basis of scientific research. When one tries to analyze and synthesize some facts, relate them with other theories, and theorize them to be a persuasive theory, the premise is that he or she has collected enough data as the raw materials of such a process of producing a theory. And the most important source of these data is the objective and careful observation in life. The theory of evolution founded by Darwin is a good case to illustrate this point. During a three-year traveling around the world, Darwin has observed the characteristics of different species, getting the objective results and raising the new theory. Without the objective observation he made, Darwin can hardly get the logical reasoning, then making the correct idea. Consequently, the objective observation does not only exist but is indispensable in our life for it is the foundation of science.

Admittedly, we may often find out that people tend to get different conclusions on the same facts or objects. However, the real cause of this phenomenon is not the people have got different observation due to the influences of their subjective emotions, but is that they make different interpretations on their observation because of their expectations or desires. For example, referring to the phenomenon of UFO, some scientists explain it as an mysterious physical phenomenon which cannot be understood by we humans now; some super naturalists claim that they are the spaceships of aliens; and some zealots of heresy assert that they are the vehicles of their god. No matter what their interpretation is due to their subjective minds, the similarity is that they both have observed the UFO objectively.

To sum up, the objective observation exists generally in our life and helps people to make scientific research, then pushing the development of science forward; even people always make different interpretations on their observation.

We human beings are a kind of emotional animals, so we inevitably involve our desires or expectations in almost everything we do(This sentence more or less misleads the reader that it is your opinion. Maybe can change the position) . Thus, someone argue (argues) that the purely objective observation does not exist since our subjective emotions and judgments are always intertwining with the results we get from the observation. However, as far as I am concerned (too old phrase J), the purely objective observation does not only exist generally in our life(in our life generally) but also plays a vital role in our exploration and understanding of the objective world, though they are often veiled by the subjective interpretation of them.(so good, admiring J)

Due to the observing method we use and the objectivity of every entity(+ we try to understand) , our observation is an objective process. When observing an object, no matter what the goal is, one will view it to get its shape, color, and volume; touching it to get its texture; and even( even?) smelling it to get its odor. Sometimes the objects are so far away that the observer cannot touch it directly but only through some equipment to view them from a long distance, such as the astronomers do. However, the characteristics of the object exist objectively and can be got by every observer( not so smooth).

The numerous objective observations in life form the basis of scientific research.

However, the real cause of this phenomenon is not( + that) the people have got different observation due to the influences of their subjective emotions, but is( delete?) that they make different interpretations on their observation because of their expectations or desires. For example, referring to the phenomenon of UFO, some scientists explain it as an mysterious physical phenomenon which cannot be understood by we humans now; some super naturalists claim that they are the spaceships of aliens; and some zealots of heresy assert that they are the vehicles of their god. No matter what their interpretation is due to their subjective minds, the similarity is that they both have observed the UFO objectively.(good example!)

To sum up, the objective observation exists generally in our life and helps people to make scientific research, then pushing the development of science forward; even(although) people always make different interpretations on their observation.( put the sentence to the front is better)
