I am wondering how to say "guanshui"
in English. :D

Well...Helen, first of all, thanks for your interest, and second, there is actually no official saying of "Guanshui", but if you really anxious to know the closer way of saying Guanshui, you may say "Gossip",:) in my way of thinking...how does it sound? :p

Whistling softly in the dark
Is a better cure than anything
For a confused mind searching for an answer

Whistling loudly enough to drown out that little voice inside your head
Is a better way than any other
To prevent miscommunication of feelings

Whistling quickly for a dog
Is a necessary task
If you wish to be a best friend in return

And whistling a tune all your own
Is the only way
To survive this life in one piece

Tattle ,prattle ……you can find many other similar words
But ,water is the fasionable and vivid way to express the meaning ,I think.

All in all ,water finds his market in Chinese.
English is a still developing language,since it can absorb French,Latin,Italian ,why not Chinese?
The next Century,Chinese would make English up to date,who knows?

water is the  besr expression of  guanshui !
      the word shows  the character of guanshui  absoultery !

Hehe...but, yuhua jj, though the example you have just raised is quite familiar to our Chinese, it is never used by English-natives... cause it is no more than a joke! ;)
