求问 CLS 申请延期

拿到了CLS LLM的ad（稍后介绍下背景），但是因为个人原因（换工作+办婚礼+生娃都凑到一起了）想尝试申请延期，CLS网站上写的是deferrals are rarely granted，and are only granted in extenuating circumstances, 不过后面给出了比较详细的操作程序。

请教各位gter关于申请CLS延期的情况，身边有没有案例，哪些原因、说辞比较容易接受等

另外，I am wondering有没有大神拿到LLM的financial aid，并且成功申请admission+financial aid一起延期的情况？
问题有点“极端”，只是好奇历史上有没有这样的案例:D:lol



附CLS网站的表述：
Deferrals of admission are rarely granted, and are only granted in extenuating circumstances. Deferrals that are granted are for one year only. Each request for a deferral must be made in writing and will be decided on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Office of Graduate Legal Studies.

If granted a deferral, you must immediately submit a non-refundable deposit of $500 and confirm your intention to enroll by contacting the Office of Graduate Legal Studies between October 1 and December 17. Upon contacting the Office of Graduate Legal Studies, you will be informed of the steps needed to update your application, including submitting an additional tuition deposit of $500 and pledging not to apply for admission to other LL.M. programs.

明年再申aid就好啦

但是据说financial aid是要第二年重新审的～
