Young people should be encouraged to pursue long-term, realistic goals rather than seek immediate fame and recognition.

With the blossom of internet and development of mass media, the way people receive information has a strong tendency of diversification, which have been more significant expended than the day before. So as a consequence, this significant change of live makes some people who just need to make comments or issued some low level treatise or even some gossips could have a more easy way earn fame and recognition from others. Despite the way people could get fame has been more efficiency, and it may also according to objective laws, all of these could create a negative social ambience which could have an adverse effect on long-term development of a society. Thus as a manner of amelioration to this kind of social ambience, our society should set up correct direction of public opinion and encourage youth to pursue long-term, realistic goals rather than seek immediate fame and recognition, so that we can meet the increased needs of a sustainable  development and it is also pertain to the merit of human race.
   Recent years, celebrities or some idol groups have more tendency of creating the meaningless latest gossip that stay in the social air waves for weeks to attract attentions from plebeian, and depend on the misrepresentation of their bored private life rumored by some irresponsible entertainment journalists to improve the popularity of them. Indeed these tidbits could help them earn fame and recognition from plebeian immediately, yet, all of these pop news and popularity of the celebrities or idol groups have nothing to do with the impetus of our social progress, but have a adverse influence on public opinion, because a large portion of their fans are  students who study in middle schools or even elementary schools, these students don’t have a mature enough of psychological development, if these celebrities and some idol groups earned fame by the behavior of creating the meaningless gossip through mass media which could have a negative effect on their process of forming philosophies, view of value and ethics, that would let students easily believe the concept which is earning fame or recognition could be very easy by create gossip or other tidbits just like idol’s performance they got known from the mass media. As a consequence, students may hardly concentrate on their academic work, but concern the latest gossip of their idols even from their classmates. So that can lead the slacken of whole society progress and create a negative social atmosphere. So it’s very necessary for our society to set up correct direction of public opinion and encourage the young idols to pursue realistic goals, they can do something more meaningful, such as public service activities, set up some endowments for education, and propose public people to do charity by using their idol effect, set an example for students, and schools should also enlighten students to be true of their study rather than seek immediate fame and recognition among their classmates.
   Students group can be influenced negatively by the concept of eager for quick success and instant benefits, so do the youth who have been office workers in our society, especially in the field of science research, this is the field which absolutely can’t tolerate a bit of eager for quick success and instant benefits, science research is very rigorous, well there are still some scientist don’t expect to the long-term goals, yet they always be anxious to achieve quick success, so more and more academic cheating have appeared in recent years, that will create a huge obstruction on the way we searching for the science progress, and that will also have some impeding impact on relate fields. Youth scientist should follow a good model of scientists of the older generation, they have created so many achievement for our country despite the extremely hard condition, learn the sprit of dedication from them, set up a long-term, realistic goals rather than seek immediate fame and recognition, that way of investigation is more according to the needs of a  sustainable development.
The phenomenon of academic cheating mute be contained by our society, and the best way to the achievement of that is setting up a correct direction of public opinion and strengthen the ideological orientation toward students of middle schools and elementary schools, encourage youth to pursue long-term, realistic goals rather than seek immediate fame and recognition is very important to the development of general mood of society.
