Opportunity for PhD Study at Utah State University: Presidential Doctoral Research Fellowship

If you are interested, and meet the requirement on GPA and GRE (see below), please contact Dr. Ling Liu at liu.usu@gmail.com. Applicants from all related backgrounds are welcome. Prior research experience is NOT required.   

The PhD student will work with Dr. Ling Liu in the broad area of materials modeling and simulation. Materials of interest include self-assembled macromolecules, electrode materials, spider silk, irradiated materials, and nanocomposites. Our webpage is: http://www.engr.usu.edu/mae/faculty/liu/

The fellowship will offer: 1) $20,000+/year stipend for 4 years; 2) full tuition waiver; and 3) several other benefits.  

Applicants must have an Undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher. For GRE, the average of the higher two sub tests must be above the 70% percentile. For example, 95% 45% 10% should qualify.
