Hello, this is National Geographic on assignment.

Pandas are only found roaming free in China but this gentle giants now will take a residence in zoos around the world.

A panda couple is the latest edition of the Manpan zoo. and paddy Kim shows us how a very special delivery was made with a unique flight half way around the world.

It's the begining of a jouney, half way around the world.

We are actually loading onto the truck and going to the airpot I cann't believe it. I really think we haven't handled this better than all we have though. We are the nervouse sort.

You think they are rock stars or something. and never thought I could have seen it But at Beijing airport, there they were, Panda Paparoze.

I guest there is no chance we would get on a wrong plane. Ours has special delivery written all over it.

'Well, this is it. I'm about to ship myself home. I've never done that before. It should be quite the ride.

Flying panda class, I learned first thing first --food. If you have ever wondored what a 200 tons of bamboo looks like, you can stop wondering.

Reserving moist bamboo, and in first class today. and in coach class we have regular people food.

Airpalne food. Oh, I think I'll get a panda's at any day. or not. I don't like dried cereal rice cake.

But the worst that would happen to these pandas on this flight, would be, they, they just refuse to eat or judic. and that would be the result from extreme stress.

I had this funny feeling, I don't know, call it six sense, but I don't think Mad has anything to worry about.

Once we settle in our seats, for most of the jouney, it's eat, sleep and try to stay warm. The cabin's temrature is set at 60 degree Fahrenheit, great for fairy pandas, but but so great for us humans. Flying on the panda express also means no in-flight movies of course, but plenty of legging room.

Somewhere 35,000 feet in the air, I'm starting to realize just how lucky I'm to be where I'am. Even the pilots cannot miss their chance to prove they are flying with superstars.

On the walls, drawings of good wishes from children in Manfas, but my main resolve was just how much this means back home.

At the end of the journey, matin Crittin share their great success with the co-workers waiting at the Manfa zoo.

As the cornerstone of teh new manfas zoo's new 15 millions dollar china exhibition. * and LoLu quickly became one of the city's star attractions even drawing Elvesy at Greeceland. there is no doubt, this is just the start of a long friendship.

This is going to be hard to talk, it is. From this point, it's gonna to be hard to talk panda so I think I would be happy to be on this for a long time.
