Without a doubt,the rapid development of the technology is changing our lifestyle.Concerning about this,some people attempt to connect the decreasing thinking ability of human-beings to the reliance on the advanced technology,and i partly agree with that.
Young people,as a generation in the information age,are surely rely too much on the high technology product.Since they grew up in a environment which is full of advanced technology,it’s easy for them to get used to the help of machines.Take a brief reflection on our daily life,and we can find out that almost every teenagers use their cell phones all the time.When they get lost,they will google the map;when they want a answer for a certain question,they will google it,rather than think it out by themselves;They can’t even calculate some simple math without a calculator.Compare to the precursor,they are surely losing some important ability in thinking and solving problems.
However,it’s an overstatement to say that the advanced technology is impairing our thinking capability in every condition.In fact,the development of the technology can also enhance our mind.During the ancient time,the culture and the creation of people is relatively limited,because of the pressure of the fierce environment,such as hunger,wild animal,and nature disaster.While after the invention of light,building,guns,people are freed from the restriction of living,and can spend more time on reflection,art,and literature which are certainly produced by people themselves.Despite the culture issue,people’s scientific development can also result from the advanced technology.Nowadays,hundreds of invention and new theories come out everyday on earth,which is unimaginable for a scientist at the end of 19th century.Thanks to the computers and internet,scientist can easily get access to their desirable information and discuss their idea with colleague from all over the world.
Actually,one cannot assert that the advanced technology exert a surely positive or negative influence on people.It’s obvious that in the daily life,people,especially teenagers have a seriously dependence on the modern technical product by abusing it.However,there is no one can deny that advanced technology saves us plenty of time and eliminate the pressure of living so that we can devote ourselves into thinking more high-level questions,in this way,the advanced technology certainly promote our thinking ability.
Advanced technology will absolutely influence our thinking mode,but whether is a inspiration or a deterioration is depend on the way we use it.
