37) Society should identify those children who have special talents and provide training for them at an early age to develop their talents.

原有思路：
The recommendation should not be applied into practice because the special training may make the so-called genius children arrogant, separate them from their peers, and prevent their other potentials from being noticed.
First of all, the special training may make the so-called genius children arrogant, which stops them trying their best to develop themselves in the field.特殊训练使得有特殊才能的儿童认为自己不用努力就能胜过他人，因此努力程度会因此减小。而如果没有特殊训练，这些孩子就会明白其他同龄人即使没有特殊天赋也能够通过努力达到和自己一样的水平，因此会加倍努力。举例：想不到美国的例子，中国的方仲永貌似没有说服力。
Secondly, separating the kids from their peers will prevent them from communicating with other kids, which might harm their mental health.长期与正常同龄人分离会导致神童们难以与正常同龄人交流，远离同龄人的生活有可能使得他们的心理早熟或者晚熟，因此特殊培养不利于神童们的性格养成。由于这个社会中大多数人都是普通人，这种培养方式会导致神童们难以融入社会。
Finally, the special training might prevent the kids’ other potentials from being noticed.由于从年幼时起就开始专攻一个领域，其他很多领域尚未接触，因此其他领域的潜力有可能被抹杀。例如一个从小展现出数学天赋的孩子因为擅长数学而专攻数学，事实上如果这个孩子专攻物理将会做出更大成就。

In artistic, society can also identify the gifted children by artistic competitions or programs, and should provide them with special training because the child stars have social value.艺术领域有天分的孩子可以通过比赛或者节目选出，以让童星在艺术圈发展的方式对其进行特殊培养，可以创造出更多的艺术作品，即社会价值。举例：Shirley Temple, Natalie Portman.
In linguistics, however, there is no need to train the gifted children because languages are used to communicate with others so that the gifted children can learn the languages in their daily life.语言属于社会层面，作用在于与他人交流，专门对儿童的语言进行培养难以创造社会价值。

感想：此题审题需要注意identify the children，所以要考虑到各个领域能否甄选出有天赋的孩子。原思路只在可以甄选的情况下成立，并且第三点最好改为发展不平衡的问题。
