UT申请statement of intent的问题

在申请多伦多大学，但是该校的statement of intent的要求很让人困惑啊。网站上有两处提到了这个要求：

Statement of approximately 500 words (two pages) setting out the student’s main fields of interest and proposed course of study.
Statement of Intent: a proposed plan of study outlining research interests (maximum of 500 words)

感觉这不是statement of intent而是research proposal啊。还有那个proposed course of study是中的course是指课程还是过程啊？完全不知该按什么方式写，求指点迷津~拜托拜托！

1. 无论要写的东西叫做SOI还是RP，既然给出了要求，建议就按照要求写吧。
2. 个人认为"proposed course of study"是指你申请的项目。
