报浸会orbs以及理工精算的offer，并附上面经

浸会是直接收到的，没有面试。理工面试如下
等了半小时，老师在skype面试，一女一男，女的问男的听。
1、你为什么选择你现在的学校
2、大一的时候成绩不太理想，为什么
3、是怎么知道这个program的，为什么选择它
4、专业很难，常有学生无法顺利毕业，是否考虑过这个问题
5、讲一下二项分布
6、有什么问题
可能因为我回答比较多，所以他基本没怎么问。
顺便想问一下，有没有人知道理工这个精算与投资科学专业到底如何？为什么非读两年？就业如何？

Ans: the master is very simple when compared with other master in mathematics, statistics with application in finance, indeed most of the course are at senior bachelor level. (edvience? look at the syllabus, look at the reference book and you will see it)
This is indeed a very common feature of master in actuarial science all over the world as actuary don't need a master but only professional exam at the end.
If there are students that cannot graduate, it is simply becasue the admission standard is too low, i.e. the school take in a lot of unqualified student (in order to earn more tuition)

If one plan to work in a related field after the master in HK, then it is time to wake up. Of courses if one count Financial Planner as a related one (since they are both related to insurance), then that's not a problem at all.
