第一次来论坛，一开始不太懂怎么弄，看了教学贴之后大概明白啦！以后就把作业都贴在这里！

TPO 21 综合写作
Genetically modified trees have negative influences, according to the professor, other than positive influences which are provided in the passage.Here are the following three reasons to support her idea.
First, in fact, genetically modified trees have fewer advantages comparing normal trees when the climate change occur or new pest strike the area. According to professor, because of the unifomity of the genes of genetic modified trees, they face the problem of extinction, while normal trees, for their difference in genes, can survive a few amount during the change. So it contracts the idea that genetically modified trees have more possibilities to survive which is based on the circumstances that the environment will not change.
Sencond, in the passage, trees which are genetically modified can bringmore interest to farmers for their faster growing and greater yielding. However, this doesn't hold water either in professor's explanation. Farmers have to pay more than expection because the company will not only charge extra fees for the seeds, but also for the using of their technique, which means the farmers will be charged whenever they plant, which will cost them a lot of money.
Third, instead of helping protect rare species of wild trees by being used as a subtitute for firewood or building house, genetically modified trees can actually cause those trees in danger by competing sunlight and nutriants with them.
