Issue 1
1) As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

Today we rely more and more on the power of science and technology to solve the problems encountered everyday and we can say we are living much easier than before. Considering our daily life, we don't need to write letters to communicate with our far-away friends and relatives, we can just give them a call or chat with them on video. It seems we are much lazier and more stupid than our precedents since we appear to be the controller of various machines.

However, it is not fair to say the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate due to the use of technology. Firstly, there still large amount of problems must be solved by human beings themselves. Such as to compose an essay or a song, most advanced technology is hardly to work out facing such problems. Robert cannot be replace you to read books, take tests, and keep knowledge in your memory. A machine is unable to drive a bus because the situation on the road is unpredictable. So there are so much work left for human beings to finish even though the technology can help you in a great deal. And the work left always requires the people to use their brain in a high level because they are usually complicated.

Secondly, what technology can solve is just according to the idea of the people because it is the human beings who invented the machines and make the strategy in case of problems. In this sense, people are smarter and more creative than the technology they developed.

Thirdly, the technology will keep people thinking how to solve the more and more complicated problems we have in the life. Because the relatively easier problems encountered before have been solved by the technology today, people will get to think how to solve more complicated problems and develop new technologies and so on. Within that circle of problems-and-solutions, the ability of humans will be enhanced because they are no longer care about the basic problems and more concentrated on the tougher issues. On the other hand, the technology will broaden our horizons and give us inspiration which we need to solve the new problems. Such as internet, it makes us get the information with great efficiency on how to deal with new problems.

In conclusion, we truly rely more and more on technology to solve relative easier problems but people are more concentrated on the new and tougher problems, so the ability of humans to think freely will enhance instead of deteriorate.
