R u mad at those junk emails?

I receive approximately 60 emails per day, 50% of which are spam emails! International Email systems are just too annoying that only letting me block like hundreds of spam IPs. Not to mention I realise that one of my email account was bugged and will help the spammer to spam others! :mad: There is also a lot of worry about the strings of meaningless words being added to these emails, it is now thought that they may be being used to pass messages between terrorist organisations.


This would be a big ass problem too, all the spammer have to do is to get 10 pc, that will send out 10 spams each, and those spam are each contained with that bug/virus, to hack the receiver. Then it will multiply signigicantly in a very short period of time. The worst thing is that most of the time the users themselves don't know that their PC are hacked, are being used by spammers.

The good news is that more countries are now collaborating in this domain...but I still don't think this would ban those spam emails!

Please, clean my computer from spam viruses! :(

Occasionally 3 approx. in my hotmail account.... seems to be autoreplies, so
it means
someone is sending junk mails in the name of me!

Mine is also with no more than three trash mails every day. Frans, you might try to contact with your mail managers or renew some setting parameters to be more defensive.

personally recommend yahoo mails with spam-guard technology.

I don't know, but my yahoo mail box got around 40 daily junk mails. Even though I am used to delete them any time checking my mails, it's still really annoying to see such a 2-digit number of reported junk mails.

Yup, 'cause I subscribe Newsletter services from Times, Economists, and Business Week etc, they send me 20-30 Newsletters on average in all each day...Besides the Newsletters I v been receiving, the spam emails have occupied at least 2/3 of the rest space!   :o

Sometimes the Newsletters do help me a lot! I could check the headlines in the scope of everything I v registered...it only costs me a couple of "clicks" to know the latest news...much more convenient & fast than paper-based newspapers...'cause I always get hesitant while throwing away the outdated newspapers!

But seems that native mail web blocks large files in the course of transmitting as suspicious mails... :o no good, either...
