As we acquire moreknowledge,things do not become more comprehensible,but more complex and mysterious.-----issue 33

This argument claims that things become more complicated instead of being simpler,when we acquire more knowledge.However, I kind of disagree with the opinion,for example,when it comes to science area,I think that learning more knowledge is able to make us understand some obscure things more clear .so in my opinion, the argument fails to take enough complexity of things into consideration.

First of all, Things in many academic areas can benefit people a lot ,as we learn more knowledge.As we all know,in science area,when we handle some difficult problems,more useful knowledge can serve as a panacea to our problems,we may be able to solve the problems more efficiently.For example,after Darwin establishing the evolution theory,everyone knows the process of human evolution,from a monkey to human being. So scientists are capable to find out our relations to some animals,in this way,If we need to cure some illness,a lot of valuable informations can be found in many animals,scientists will come up with effective solutions using the information.Although a long time ago,some people do not believe the evolution theory,they believed it could make the studies of human physiology more complex,many facts proved that it helped people understand human physiology better.Thus it is not appropriate to argue that more knowledge only make things more complex and mysterious.

Secondly,when people acquire more knowledge, different people may have different reactions. ?with the rapid development of science and technology,common people may not be able to adapt to let a lot of new inventions invade their lives,they can be just accustomed to their old life styles.For instance, nowadays cell phones have more and more functions and they become indispensable in our daily lives,but some people do not like to let cell phones be a part of their lives,after they know the new functions,such as twitter and facebook.? they believe such new things may too convoluted to disorder their lives pattern.However, to scientists, the more knowledge they can learn from new technology development the more excellent methods they can come up with to improve the technology,and they comprehend new inventions more completely.It is the reason why iphone evolves from iphone 1to iphone 6plus.Therefore,the argument is unconvincing in some aspects.

Finally,people 's reactions of learning more knowledge are also associated with the age of people.when people are really young,they have a good ability to absorb knowledge,and learning a lot is a good way to help them figure out things around them more clearly.But when people grow old,a great number of knowledge can be a burden on them,they may think things in their daily lives become tougher to handle,after learning new knowledge. So the argument only takes one-side thinking.

All in all,the argument fails ?to consider a lot of respects,without other explanation, it is rifle with holes and it is unconvincing.?
