题目忘了,大致是有钱是不是成功的意思
Nowadays, there is a trend that public tend to regard rich people as successful ones. However, in my opinion, money is not the only standard to evaluate one's value, followed by several reasons below.
First of all, the ones who possess numerous possession may not be considered to be successful. There are lots of examples to support this point of view. Some corupptional criminals who accumulate fortune by appropriating public property, are spured by common people, not to mention to respect them as models.
From another perspective, people often take other precious characterisics into account in order to estimate if he or she is successful or not, regardless of rich or poor. I would like to take Bill Gates as an instance. Lots of youth admire him as an icon not because he is the richest man in the world, but mainly because of his couragement to drop from Harvad to pursue his own enterprise and perseverance to his own belief. Money, however, is just the external form of his achievement.
Furthermore, people without much money can be deemed as success by populace, even some penniless ones. To prove this point, the image of Mother Terasa emerges, who won the Nobel Peace Prize for her kindness to hundreds and thousands of poors living in India. She was so poor that she had to persuade the government to fund the nunnery Undoubtedly, she is successful in the field of maintaining the wouldwide peace.
Combined with the reasons mentioned above, the conclusion can be drawn: successful men are not defined by his possession ,but by his contribution to the whole society.
