1. UCLA:
you sound terrific, and congratulations on your achievements. I am still accepting students, but you must apply to the department and to UCLA in order to be admitted before I can accept you into my group. With best regards, Ken
2. TAMU
Thank you for contacting me. I'm glad to hear about your interest in my group and think you could be a great fit.
I encourage you to apply for the PhD program here at Texas A&M. Individual faculty members have no control over the admissions process--all applications are reviewed by the admissions committee.
3. WISC
thanks for the email - I certainly encourage you to apply to our graduate program! We have several theory faculty members whose research is at the frontier of theoretical/computational chemistry - so one has the chance to get exposed to various topics, which I think is very valuable to graduate education.
Any way - look forward to receiving your applications! Please feel free to contact me if you have specific questions.
4. UMN (梦校)
I am certainly open to accepting new Ph. D. students. Thank you for your interest.
You should be aware that our deparment has a two-step process. First persons must apply to the department for admission; such applications are reviewed by a committee (I am not on the committee this year). After admission, a person can apply to a research group. Decisions on such applications are made no later than Novermber of the first year in graduate school.
