比较纠结，港大的金融不够雅思小分，还要再考英语！而且学费基本是港科的两倍！求比较

楼主只要不是特别想从事经济学研究的话，肯定选HKU MFIN。其实HKUST 的Msc in Econ作为PHD的跳板是很棒的，就业方面肯定不如HKU Mfin。

科大的econ已经很厉害了，lz不妨比较下课程设置，mfin固然是很多人dream offer，不过本科金融再读金融…lz自己认真再重新研究下课程吧～anyway～big cong！

I will say in most case, MSc Economics > MSc Finance, as Econ + CFA > Fina + CFA, not to mention the difference in tuition.

only reason for choosing HKU MFin one is for their advanced quantitative course (I mean those stream core and advanced course in the elective, but not those Advanced Core as those are just senior undergraduate level stuffs), but if one really want to go quantitative, it will be a better idea to go for a more mathematical program, e.g. HKUST MSc Fina Math, if possible.

P.S. if one look into the details of HKU MFin, one may doubt if they have the enough faculty to teach those advanced course too, e.g.
- finding an investment and asset allocation prof to teaching adv interest rate model,
- empirical asset pricing, credit and liquidity prof to teach adv option pricing model,
- corporate finance and real option researcher to teach math tech for finance........
are you joking? what the hell combination is this!? why don't just get the book and self-study?
