For me, the most decisive reason that I am still alone with no GF is that I am searching for plantonic relationship. I think most of the guys in college find GF just because they need a company who looks somewhat good and can have someone to talk with or sex mate. But I need one who can understand my religion ,music, and way of life.. However, even "google" cannot help me find the one I am looking for. fran knows why ..... ;)

this remind me of a song by neil young:

keep me searching for a heart of gold, keep me searching and I am growing old....

Nobody denies the mental engagement between the two parties.

I think the platonic relationship will sooner or later comes to an end although it does exist. Because the Platonic relationship resulted from spontaneous feelings, it is unavoidable and it is purified by two souls without any other intentions.

If physical attraction is present between a man and a woman, it is not possible to have a natural platonic relationship. They surely intend to draw off the line and step forward.

The moive "When Herry Met Sally" tells me that a man and a woman who love each other can never be real friends. If they do, their love is not true enough.

Whistling softly in the dark
Is a better cure than anything
For a confused mind searching for an answer

Whistling loudly enough to drown out that little voice inside your head
Is a better way than any other
To prevent miscommunication of feelings

Whistling quickly for a dog
Is a necessary task
If you wish to be a best friend in return

And whistling a tune all your own
Is the only way
To survive this life in one piece
