达尔豪斯offer讨论

楼主刚刚收到加拿大达尔豪斯大学网络工程的Meng，但是要交2700的占位费，大家觉得怎么样，有没有必要？

头一次听说占位费,去该校的网站看了下, 果真有占位费这么一说,不过是$2500.这钱一旦交了是不退的,除非研究生院不给你发acceptance letter或者你拿不到签证.．．估计学校也学精了,以防学生接受Offer了又不去．所以大家还是尽早告诉接收了Offer但不打算去的学校／导师一声，以免以后所有的学校都开始收占位费.

Once you have been informed that you are accepted into the program, a $2,500 admission deposit fee must be paid to hold the seat. The deposit is usually due 4 weeks after a position admission decision; you will be advised well in advance of the deposit due date.
If you do not register at the appointed time for any reason (other than a refusal by the Faculty of Graduate Studies to issue an acceptance letter to you or refusal of a study visa) the admission deposit is non-refundable. Once you have paid the admission deposit, the seat will be held until the Program Administration receives confirmation of your travel plans and your intent to show up for the first two classes.  If such confirmation is not received three weeks prior to the start of the first class, then the admission fee will be forfeit and the seat lost to you.

其他学校到现在还没消息，这个学校是保底去的，只能再等等了

我也是收到Dalhousie的offer，不过我只需要交200占坑费

为啥只要200啊 是网络工程这个专业的么？
是和老师bargain的么？

亲，你好。请问后来你决定去哪个了么？有没有交DAL的占位费啊？
