At this time of year, a lot many girls around me are keeping strict diet for good looks, which has barely been a surprise in summertime.

But today, a male friend of mine did shock me a bit when he told me he's losing weight just because his future girlfriend prefers slim boys.  :eek:

I never thought about man-losing-weight ever before unless he is too fatty. Matter of fact, he's not fat at all.  :mad:

Do we really need such a compromise to please other people? I don't think I'll change such trivial things of myself, like me or not, out of my business.  :rolleyes:

Plus, a friend indeed never cares about such trivial things with us.  :o

Whistling softly in the dark
Is a better cure than anything
For a confused mind searching for an answer

Whistling loudly enough to drown out that little voice inside your head
Is a better way than any other
To prevent miscommunication of feelings

Whistling quickly for a dog
Is a necessary task
If you wish to be a best friend in return

And whistling a tune all your own
Is the only way
To survive this life in one piece

remind of me sth--- Fat Boy Slim... :D

syd is used to be called "xiao pang' though he is not that as fat as they think, you know why, coz, syd's face and head are a bit too big...

however, I'm comfortable with this. :rolleyes:

danny's right! But even if she asked him to do so, he shouldn't have listened to her in this regard. Plus, guys should rather keep fit with defined muscles than "lose weight".

I mean that they are catering to their OWN preferences. It may have nothing to do with anyone else...they themselves just want to be so. :cool:

You shot one of the possibilities, imong, but in another way of thinking, would anyone care how they look or let's go a bit further, would people be wearing pents, whatever in ancient ages or modern times, if there is no chemistry taken place between genders? :rolleyes:

"Xiao pang" is a cute nickname. One of my good friends is also called by this, although he is relatively slim in shape. All of us have got used to this name since his childhood and no one ever feels uneasy about it.
