选校求建议 uc3m cemfi 持续更新

UC3M MA Econ analysis, tw+900 per month, 之后phd貌似很少外申?

phd很多中国人在读，毕业的有一个14年去了GSM，看不到完整的placement，求了解的前辈介绍下~

frankfurt msq 第一年资格考过了就能转phd

CEMFI和tilburg 各位前辈介绍很多了
frankfurt gsefm的 msq 类似这两个，也是phd 导向，很鼓励学生继续本校读phd，强项貌似是 macro和 finance..
今年cemfi 第一轮就给中国人发了20个，预感18年申phd会非常惨烈吧，弄不好就没学上了T_T

lz情况，budget是硬约束，所以master没考虑英美，bgse录了但学费实在不低，decline。。本科是理科，修了经双，对urban，geography，region，real estate，environment熟一些但也不算数。。本科埋头做ra结果完全忽略了抱大牛拿信，sigh…

对微观计量不是特别感冒，想试一试fin，phd申business school。。。

情况就是这样啦，求建议，或者泼冷水降降温

frankfurt不了解。
cemfi本部phd应该相对好留，最后placement也都很好。
目前来看tilburg好像师资流失比较严重，而cemfi目前还在扩充师资，之前听说从西班牙其他学校挖了很好的老师。
因此从一个very very subjective and likely biased的角度来讲，也许cemfi前途更好些？
当然，根据给钱状况不同，应该有不同的考量；不过如果cemfi给了钱，乃至免学费的话，考虑从了？

I agree with Jianghaha, CEMFI might be a better choice given your interest in finance PhD.

Frankfurt is also a very good program, and I guess if you get qualified after first year you can get funding as well?

Tilburg's Econ is dropping fast. A colleague did his bachelor and research master there said the business program (apart from Banking team) is stronger now than the Econ program (including banking team) since many good professors left (I guess it is the financial concern).

I guess that's due to financial concern also.......

Tilburg已經試過funding不夠, 在promised 7(?)分以上能上其PhD上鬧過一回(something post this out on forum (urch?), and seems the school have a difficult time to resolve it.)


Given no one here say something about Goethe Frankfurt, here is my two cents:
1. it seems to be a very good school for monetary economics, and a good school for financial economics.
2. it has quite close cooperation with ECB (not sure about with other private FI, but given it is in Frankfurt..). 同時在goethe讀PhD, 和在ECB實習的, 我知道的不止一個......

没有奖，因为不收学费。继续Phd的话能拿奖，或者ta,ra拿钱

谢谢ha前辈的信息。。cemfi只免了我学费，只是感觉今年发这么多ad可能是泡沫

fund only for Phd, so from the third year. It is not a big problem since the no tuition and low living expenses.

Tilburg is dropping and short of fund. ╮(╯▽╰)╭. I'd decline it later.

you get the key point.....they require a European passport in most of the case.

雖則偶有聽過例外, 但據說只有housing沒有salary....

P.S. this is the biggest problem for those interested in macro / monetary or etc......and want some practical experience......
