yes. given there are no big (or even medium size) financial centre there, they are going to fight with other master student for a job in Toronto.

and thus they are facing more than one disadvantages at the same time:
1. McGill is only 2nd tier Canadian business school. They are going to fight with Ivey, Toronto....which has much better program structure and training.
2. Location matters. Companies may, or may not pay for their on-site interview, and they will miss many many chances of networking with alumni, various business event and etc....
and at the same time, they lose the biggest advantage of studying in Quebec: PEQ.

so I consider reading the McGill MMF quite a .......bad idea, unless one really don't have any other better choice.
