what I mean is......why college?

要基本training上online CS course, 要solid background兩年(多一點)夠上一個CS second degree了.........so what is the point of spending two year in a college instead of university?

作为mature students (in my late 20s, already have a Master's) 再读CS second degree是否可能在雇主眼里没有优势？

似乎cs重要的是不断学习新内容跟上技术迭代的能力？对于大龄青年是否作用不大呢？

I guess the first question is.........what do you want / need?

It is true that learning ability decreases a bit when getting older (though employer don't care much indeed, they will just get you a test during interview to see if you can solve the problem), but on the other hands, it means that you have some working experience which are valuable to the job, and such that you can leverage on them in order to get into some certain roles.

for example, imagine that you have some working experience in whatever XYZ industry, it maybe easier to get a role in XYZ industry in Canada.

of course, if you previous experience are completely irrelevant (e.g. someone working in government as an official), and you are much older than a fresh..........then it is time to think twice if you are good enough to relocate....


P.S. lifelong learning = studying till one die.......
