UBC Second round interview 面试准备求指导~~~~

大家好，小弟目前套到UBC一个prof，之前跟他有过一轮的interview，第一轮面了半个小时左右，内容主要是我的paper内容，他目前做的一些projects以及我问他的几个问题~

第一轮他当时说的目的是gauge mutual interests，然后目前他说一月份会有第二轮的面试。

小弟想请问第二轮的面试思路应该是怎样的（technical interview应该是）（e.g., 读一些他的paper）？

有了解过的或者有经验的麻烦指导下啦~~~:lol

这个要看你prof了，两个可能性都有。。。

我当初申master也是有第二个interview，我很认真的准备了，聊了几分钟prof就给我说你要用这个模型做这个project，有没有ta经历因为我9月要教这门课blah blah blah，然后我很懵的问这代表我被录了吗，然后prof说对呀我等下就签admission给小米。。。

it is better to prepare for it and not need it than not prepare for it and need it...所以paper还是要读的！

其实我觉得你完全可以现在发个邮件去问下：May I ask what's purpose of this second interview? Will there be any discussion on the technical aspect of yours or my research projects? The reason I am asking is because I want to be more prepared before we have the meeting.

我记得第一次面的时候prof说的第二次是   technical interview （他提到过），

目前我的思路就是读一些他的paper，去了解下他这些paper里的general methods，最后看看能不能提出一些follow-up research ideas。

他第一次面试已经了解过我的paper的相关了，所以我觉得第二次的面试重心在于 “我是否了解他的research proceeding" ?

based on the above, 如果这样的思路是OK的话应该没必要再邮件去问他吧（怕有点打扰他）
