The School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham, UK (QS world ranking top 75) is recruiting
CSC PhD student in the area of Information Retrieval (IR) to start on Oct. 2018.
You will be supervised by Prof. Ke Zhou (http://www.cs.nott.ac.uk/~pszkz/, https://sites.google.com/site/keadamzhou/).

*Topics*: information retrieval, data/text mining, machine learning, user modeling.

*Requirements*:
- Candidates must have a good Masters Degree (or a BSc Degree with excellent records) in Computer Science or related subjects.
- Candidates must be confident in some of these areas: information retrieval, machine learning, statistics,
have excellent programming skills, be fluent in English and possess good communication skills.
- Previous experience in research and a track record of publications is preferable.

*Start date*: 01/10/2018 (negotiable)
*Duration*: 3+1 years
