Multiple PhD positions with full financial support

Mechanical Engineering, University of Nevada Reno, Spring 2019

Drs. Yiliang Liao and Yan Wang from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno are seeking multiple Ph.D. students for enrollment in Spring 2019. The students will work on collaborative projects including:

1) Advanced manufacturing and material processing

2) Multiscale modeling of thermal/electrical/optical properties in nanostructures

3) Nanomaterial fabrication and processing towards applications in energy storage devices, soft robotics, and biomedical engineering.

Requirements:

1. BS/MS degree in materials science, thermal science, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry or a closely related field.  MS is preferred.

2. Journal publication experience is preferred.
