ISSUE 3:
"It is more important to allocate money for immediate, existing social problems than to spend it on long-term research that might help future generations."
When it comes to the question about the money allocation, people always have two different opinions: some ones may think that the money should be used to solve the immediate, existing social problems, while others may support that we should spend money on long-term research that might help future generations. Those long-term programs are important conspicuously, but the social problems existed are more emergent if we compare the two carefully.
Firstly and basically, the society is changing every second, and bring out some implicate questions, such as the crimes, the laid-off workers and so on. These social problems are not only inevitable, but also should be solved immediately. If we miss the first time to correct these faults, it is equal that we push our society to a more dangerous station. So the money spending on these items will be justifiable.
Furthermore, the social problems are affairs currently. If we can dispose these hot irons correctly and immediately, it will be good news to our society development; if we omit the importance of them, then the society will continue go on to a non-discipline world. Without the management, we will find that there are more severe mistakes full of our lives, and we cannot find the peaceful environment as before. So we can get a great conclusion: the peaceful and well-being condition is the precondition of the progress of the society, spending more money on maintain it is valuable; without the firmly improvement, where can we get the confidence to peruse our daily work, and not mention the long-term researches.
But the above we talked is not to say that there is not any use to research the long-term items, these are crucial for the future of the society. We spent money on solving the current social problems with the aim to construct a stead atmosphere, and then all the researchers can make their best to innovate, to improve our life level, and to make the nation, the world more and more beautiful.
In conclusion, I support the idea that we should allocate more money for immediate, existing social problems, as I have said above, it is the approach to get a peaceful and well-being environment for our daily lives and the future, but I do not think that abandoning the long-term research is a good choice. The two are both important; the former is merely some more need for money to arrive. |
