PhD Student RA, TA Positions


The Living Devices & Biosensors Lab at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) invites highly motivated students to apply for RA and/or TA positions in the Mechanical Engineering.
Selected students will work on microfluidics and biotechnology projects that integrate engineering and life sciences at the micro/nano scale. More details please refer to PI’s group webpage http://faculty.eng.fau.edu/sarahdu
•        Student with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related is preferred.
•        Experience in the areas of mechanics, fluid dynamics, sensors, micro-fabrication, or mechanical design/manufacturing is required.
•        Life sciences experience/education and hands-on experience in experimental techniques, such as micro-fabrication, electronics, and bioengineering are big advantages.
•        The ability and interest to work in the interdisciplinary team and with engineers and biologists are preferred.
